By accessing or using Brainfy at brainfy.online, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the Brainfy service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Brainfy is an AI-powered study tool that helps you organise notes, generate flashcards, create summaries, and manage your learning. Features include document upload, YouTube video processing, and spaced-repetition flashcard review.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Brainfy.
One person may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
Use Brainfy to generate or distribute spam or misleading content.
Share your account with others.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Brainfy. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service (e.g., AI summarisation). We do not claim ownership of your notes or documents.

6. AI-Generated Content

Flashcards, summaries, and outlines generated by Brainfy's AI features are provided as study aids only. We make no guarantees about their accuracy. Always verify important information against authoritative sources.

7. Subscription and Billing

Brainfy offers a free tier and paid plans (Student+ and Deep Worker). Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep Brainfy available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without liability.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Brainfy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or meet your specific requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brainfy and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Brainfy after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
